Craftopia - Part 2: The Fountain (Featuring guest builder Azn1243)
My goal is to make an expansive city composed of 5 Million blocks placed.5,000,000?! That’s insane! Follow me as I attempt this miraculous feat.
Welcome back to Part 2 of my building of Craftopia! In this section, one of my good friends, Azn1243, has built a massive fountain in what was the desolate aftermath of a TNT explosion.
After clearing out the area and creating a 3x3 pillar of Jack-O-Lanterns and cobble, he proceeded to build a “bowl” of sorts around the pillar to serve as the centerpiece of the fountain.
He then proceeded to build the stone steps leading up to the edges of the 29 radius circle.
Get out of there cow you do not belong there you don’t even like water
So, after creating a circle based on the dimensions given in this picture, he filled it up with water. It’s times like these that an infinite water/endless bucket mod would really have been handy, but thats not the MANLY way of doing things.

The completed fountain. Definitely not bad, if I do say so myself. Perhaps I’ll add some glowstone to the floor later on. Either way, the fountain will probably serve as the center of a “town square” of sorts in the future. Not that any of this is planned though, mind you.

Craftopia - Part 1: Demolition
My goal is to make an expansive city composed of 5 Million blocks placed. 5,000,000?! That’s insane! Follow me as I attempt this miraculous feat.
This is the minecraft world that I’ve spawned in. Luscious trees, rolling hills, and wide ocean all around! Oh yes, that stuff will have to go. So I roll up my sleeves and get out my axe and shovel and start digging and cutting.
Hmmm…progress doesn’t seem to be going very quickly… fortunately I have the destructive power of FLINT AND STEEL at my fingertips!
MUHAHAHAHAHA
The aftermath of my destruction…However, the problem has shifted to that hill that seems to be in my way. Fortunately, I have a diamond shovel in my inventory! Time to get digging!
